CHEA—Centered-Heart Energetic Alignment

CHEA (pronounced qi or chē) is the culmination of twenty years of practice in qi therapies. Combining Five Element acupuncture and East Asian Medicine theory, Integrative Energetic Healing, and Budhist practices, CHEA is a method of energetic healing that allows you to be in alignment in all aspects—on the physical, emotional, and spiritual level.

Every part of the body has energy fields around and within them that act as information centers and perceptual systems. In a balanced state, our energy field supports our physical and psycho-spiritual well-being. CHEA acts under the assumption that physical ailments, disease, and pain, as well as mental and emotional stressors stem from or create imbalances or distortions in one or more of these energy fields. Stressors or traumas can become lodged or stuck in the field and create an ongoing field distortion. These field distortions can be identified and treated.

CHEA involves trained listening to the energy fields of the body, the organ systems, the chakras, and most importantly, to the person--what do you need to tell your practitioner? What is your experience around the issue you want help with? You may not know until a session is in-progress—what needs to come up, will. This is not talk-therapy. What Star is listening for are the places of tension, torsion, or dissonance within the field of the story; once these places are identified, the best way to invite alignment back is utilized. This may be through working with the Chakra system, the meridian system, directly with the energy fields around the body or specific organs, or through conversation addressing the energetic pattern around a false belief, held trauma, or other experience from the past.
